Moving games

Yesterday, the ceremony for the European Innovative Games Award took place at Deutsches Filmmuseum in Frankfurt/Main. Prior, our learning adventure Professor S. had come through against 93 contestants from all over Europe and was among the three finalists.

Full of excitement, we attended the event and met with many interesting people and creatives from the media industry. Bounden by dutch studio Game Oven took home the final prize. We congratulate their team on their app that makes people dance. Of course, we wasted no time trying it out ourselves, back in our office. It's a lot of fun and we are definitely seeing improvement in our pirouettes.

Following the ceremony, we were invited to look behind the scenes og zur new exhibition “Film und Games”, the opening of which coincided with the award show. The collection casts a light on the interconnectedness of films and games through history. It also helps clear the myth of the buried game cartridges for the 80's classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
